Used Tent Trailers Ontario Pop Up Tent Trailer Question?

Pop up tent trailer question? - used tent trailers ontario

I think buying a used tent trailer. It will be used by 2 people, my wife and I have never met anyone who had one. I am looking for information from someone who has had or currently have a. What are the pros and cons? What accessories do you recommend? One of my biggest concerns is the form that is outside of the store should be under a tree in a beautiful color, the test of time with a plastic tarp. Would it be better with a refrigerator, or just an ice chest? with or without heating the space, such as a water heater? Each post is appreciated.thanks for your attention.

I like the answer I gave Brook.
I use a pop-up as a hunting camp in the rule alone, sometimes one of my children. Not too big and not much room to move themselves. A little heat to keep the temperature nice and toasted adequite keep ventilation.
The problems of mold wash with mild soap and water and air. It was installed on the farm for a few days in the sun of summer.
We use coolers are not affected unit. I want a small heater that I have a generator to an hour before the hot shower. This trailer of age, never even remotely use the actual campsites to its facilities.
Since the advertisement states that for six, after which three adults comfortably.

My brother (his wife and 3 children) had. I know that something so "was just" traveling more fuel for your vehicle. There were grills for cooking and water heating. None of the excess heat to the "people comfort", which elements can be used to the vehicle battery or a camp in the vicinity of electrical discharges (electric blankets, if necessary) to be connected with the exception of blankets. He moved into the camp in the vicinity of the outlets to avoid draining the car battery) (and your sport on television.

I've never heard of mold / mildrew problems.

We expect that more people respond to your question again.

I have had for years, both as units of family camping, as well as a portable hunting and fishing camps. In fact, Jayco just bought a new one.

Mold is not a problem with these devices, if the "canvas" is dry before closing. And with the latest, including low moisture will not hurt. My recommendation is that when I go home, open the drive and let them dry in the air, then closed. When to close, it requires no additional impervious coverage. However, a good plan, they help clean and free of SAP, etc.

Most of the questions you will have the same answer: It depends. Where and when you are camping, your level of personal comfort, etc.

For example, if you will be accommodated in organized camps, there are baths. So you do not need heating.

Most units do not have refrigerators, and those with small ones. So for more than a journey into the night, you need a fridge anyway.

A heater is great if you are camping in the time Coler. Go with an electric motor. And do not go crazy in size. APop-up is a small room that is quickly heated. Too high a water heater is.

If you are camping in itself a hot-live-fuel is a better choice, which is operated by a battery of your car. But be sure to allow ventilation when it is running.

I would also recommend to save a set of dishes, utensils and other equipment designed specifically for the device used regularly, and freed. If you try to take things like the house always forget something.

Can be assigned to other items in May (with a used unit) is a tube with integrated filter, a station long, heavy extension cord equipped at least 25 meters, and a large gas cylinder.
